What does National Student Chapter do for me?

  • Communicates important information to student members through monthly E-bulletins, the NAEA News, our website, mailings, and other means
  • Provides opportunities for growth and advancement to student members
  • Supplies timely job openings to student members
  • Provides the opportunity for student leaders to hone their skills at the national level as either President or Student Outreach Coordinators
  • Nourishes an environment for students to share experiences and ideas
  • Encourages camaraderie and friendships among art education students
  • Increases communication between local student chapters
  • Increases the visibility of students within the art education community
  • Advances the understanding and scope of future art educators
  • Promotes an exchange of ideas between the art education arena and other disciplines
